DD#5
I have no topic goals anymore.. I’ll just name this “I see the light of the grey dawn beside my window” because choosing an impromptu, hour-long doodle session over sleep probably wasn’t a good idea
4/18/13, 4:30-5:30am; SAI
DD#4: BURD (underside… with no legs.. >_>)
30 minutes, SAI… I was testing out brush textures and then decided I’d practice straight lines with elbow movement. Eh.
DD#3: NALA!
Prismacolor pencils, white gel pen; somewhere between 5-8 hours on and off.
I ran into a few problems when layering her fur, so the tones of the colors are darker than the reference photo.. She looks like a different cat, not as chubby as I wanted her to be ;_; I have an edited version without the color palette on the left, but I won’t be posting that here.

April 23, 2013, sketches; pen/ink, colored pencil.
Some poses have wonky feet. (Numbered poses were referenced from photos found here.)
IDK colour on this blag.
DD#3: Nala! (WIP) Or at least I tried.. I made her eyes a bit more relaxed, she looks more alert/cuter in the reference ;_;
Drawn with Prismacolor/Utrecht color pencils. I’m gonna finish this in the next few days!
Sun catcher! :) Glass paint is an interesting medium. Also, the center of the flower dried with accidental bubbles :D Made at a college night event, Apr/16/13
And b/w again, just because.
DD#2, Apr/13/13
Pilot G-Tec + Zebra brush pen. (webcam vs. scanned version that I added on April 30)
I guess this one would fall under Creature Feature? Or Human? I’m basically choosing the doodle topic rather than following my schedule \(._.)/
DD#1, April 8 & April 10 2013
Done in SAI, around 2 hours in the space of two days… of which 1.5 hours was spent on eyes.
I’m doing staggered Daily Doodles (I have an official schedule!) that I don’t do daily because I don’t save enough time in a day to do “doodles”, since “doodles” always want to become “artworks”, which mean they want me to take longer than half an hour working on them (“doodles” are people too!), so I had to force-shutdown this progress and move on to better things. Maybe one day this will transform into an artwork.

My DD Schedule……
Topic ideas from jellydraws. Only jellydraws does these for half an hour max and I’m pretty liberal with time.
Dried acrylic paint fragments peeled off my palette :D
I needed more coloured “art” on this blag.. :>
Taken in late February with my crap Nikon and a flashlight, then edited today.
I just.. don’t know anymo’
This is what forcing creativity looks like
I have no direction and I sho as heck ain’t satisfied =_=
/webcam again..
